Online Ordering Now Available: Small Orders, Big Possibilities

For these projects, we’ve designed a new customer experience to expedite the ordering process for you! Now on mcnichols.com, place orders in seconds without a phone call or a follow-up. You’ll be able to make immediate purchases on select products and enjoy prompt shipping right to your doorstep.
Each day, we are inspired by how our customers take products that some might consider ordinary and transform them into something extraordinary. Because of this, we are excited to give you easier access to the little things that make a big impact. Our new online ordering feature offers select products and sizes ideal for smaller applications. Maybe you’re searching for a grill rack for your DIY BBQ smoker. Perhaps you’re an architect looking for larger samples. Regardless of your profession and whatever your Hole Product needs are, we know that small orders can open the door to big possibilities!
What Products Are Available?
As you embark on this new customer experience, we're here to give you all the information you need to get started. Below, we outline the Online Ordering process and how you can get the most out of it!
To kick off this feature, we're offering select sizes and quantities of Perforated and Textured Metals as well as select items of Wire Mesh. As you browse our website, you may notice a green “Order Online” banner over some of our product images. These are products that have at least one size available for immediate purchase online.
Additionally, if a product qualifies for online ordering, available sizes are listed in a green font below the product tile. Sizes listed in a black font are available for purchase with the assistance of a Customer Service Specialist.
How Does the Online Ordering Process Work?
To complete an online purchase, there are a few things to keep in mind. If your order needs special attention, we will simply change it to a Request for Quote during the checkout process. From there, an associate will promptly guide you through the rest of the buying process. The steps to completing an online order are listed below.
1) Log in to Your Account
Online browsing of our vast inventory is available to all visitors of mcnichols.com. However, to finalize an online purchase, you'll need to be a user via a registered account. To learn how to create a McNICHOLS account, please visit our registration page. If you do not have an account or are not logged in, product inquiries will flow through a Request for Quote process.
2) Select Items of Supported Category and Size
As previously mentioned, the e-commerce feature currently includes items and sizes that are ideal for smaller applications. Be on the lookout for the green banner and check mark to find the Hole Products available for online purchase. Then, choose a size listed in green font to complete your order.
3) Set Quantity
Metal products can be pretty heavy! To ensure that selected items are delivered to your doorstep as expected, quantity limits exist for select items. To accommodate size and weight requirements from our shipping partners, we can package up to five sheets of each item. If your need for any one product exceeds this amount, a Customer Service Specialist is happy to discuss alternative buying and shipping methods.
4) Choose Delivery Shipping Method
At this time, orders purchased online are delivery only. However, if you would like to pick up your order at a McNICHOLS location near you, please request a quote or choose one of several available options on our Customer Support page.
5) Opt for UPS Carrier
Items qualifying for Online Orders are in-stock and ship in one to two business days via UPS Ground. These orders can ship to physical addresses within the Contiguous United States (lower 48 states). We are always eager to serve any national and international customer if they would like to request a quote, and we look forward to expanding our online ordering shipment locations in the future!
6) Consider Special Instructions
We are eager to serve you in numerous ways—from fabrication assistance to custom solutions. However, to ensure services are completed timely and accurately, orders with special instructions are placed through a Customer Service Specialist.
