Who We Are
In 1952, Bob L. McNichols began selling Perforated Metal out of his living room in Cleveland, Ohio. Today, that small business has grown into the nation's leading supplier of Perforated and Expanded Metals, Wire Mesh and Designer Metals, as well as Bar Grating, Plank Grating, and Fiberglass Grating. Through expansion, McNICHOLS CO. has remained a strong privately held company led by Bob's son, Chairman Gene McNichols, and grandson, President Scott McNichols.
Our "Hole Network" of 19 Metals Service Centers nationwide provides products for an assortment of industries including distribution, construction, metal fabrication, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and more. Our products can be found serving various functions in a variety of places, from a walkway at an amusement park, to a building façade on a skyscraper. Hole Products have endless applications, and our customers continue to surprise us with creative ways to use them!

We see Christianity and our faith in God as a foundation that creates an atmosphere of respect, truth, encouragement, and accountability.
Do I have to be a Christian to work at McNICHOLS?
Absolutely not. You will never be expected to adhere to our beliefs or the beliefs of others associates. Our team is full of amazing people who come from all walks of life. As long as you approach each day with a positive attitude and are Inspired to Serve® our customers and each other, you will fit right in!
What does the daily life at McNICHOLS look like?
We are proud to be a faith-based company, but Christianity is not a major facet of daily life at McNICHOLS. Some company gatherings are opened with The Pledge of Allegiance and followed by a short prayer. You may also, from time to time, receive an email regarding a prayer request for a fellow associate. However, whether or not you participate in these activities is entirely up to you.
Our workday is focused on working together, serving our customers, and having some fun along the way!
