Wheels 'n Heels® Bar Grating is a heavy-duty, pedestrian-friendly steel grating that can handle most wheel traffic. This grating comes in two span lengths: short span and long span. The short span series are designed to span up to 3 feet. The long span series can span up to 8 feet. Wheels and heels is constructed with 1/4 inch thick steel bearing bars. The long span series also contain 3/16 inch filler bars which are alternated with the bearing bars. Wheels 'n Heels® Series McNichols’ Wheels 'n Heels® bar grating products are divided into four series: 8-WH-4 & 12-WH-4 (Short Span) and 15-WH-4 & 23-WH-4 (Long Span).
