TRACTION TREAD™ Planks feature a surface of hundreds of raised perforated buttons with debossed holes that provide slip-resistance in all directions. Typical applications include walkways, scaffolds, mezzanines, stair treads, and for resurfacing of worn materials—planks are useful anywhere a light slip-resistant flooring is required.
Planks are also ideal for pedestrian traffic, ADA compliant, have a long service life and are easy to install.
Besides formed planks, this product is also offered in floor plate sheets, 3 x 10 foot (found in the Matting and Flooring product line section) and as ladder rungs (found in the Ladder Rung product line section).
The gauge is the thickness of the material not including the raised area. The higher the gauge, the lighter and less durable the material (see example “A”). This gauges and weights chart can provide additional information.
