McNICHOLS GRATE-LOCK® Plank has a surface of long round end-slots that provide an impressive open area of 45% that permit water passage from ceiling sprinklers and air and light. Planks come in male/male, female/female, and female/male configuration styles that are easy to install with interlocking side channels that lock together. Increased load performance can be realized through this design of interlocking “ventilated” planks that allows you to specify lighter gauge steel for substantial material savings. Planks are ideal for mezzanines, racking, shelving, billboards, highway signs, rooftop walkways and other applications and are available with a standard traction grip surface for slip resistance or a smooth surface.
Galvanized GRATE-LOCK Planks are available in a variety of widths and configurations from stock. Others are available by special order.
