DIAMONDBACK® Deckplate Planks are made using an aluminum extrusion process. The surface of the plank is vented with angled diamond-shaped openings along with lines of raised serrations running parallel to the plank length. This gives the plank drainage capabilities, lighter weight and slip resistance. (A solid serrated surface is also available.) Unlike other plank gratings, DIAMONDBACK® Deckplate has a system of integral support bearing bars making it a strong plank grating option. Deckplate planks are notched on each side, and planks can be connected to one another by inserting a “dovetail interlock” bar the length of the plank. The dovetail bars are available in the Accessories product line.
DIAMONDBACK® Deckplate Planks are available 6 or 12 inches wide x 12 foot length, with a vented or solid surface. They are also available by special order in a 6 inch width. Stock choices include plank heights from 1 to 2 inches.
