GRIP STRUT® Walkway Planks offer the same high slip resistance of the GRIP STRUT® Planks, one of the safest walking-working surfaces in the industry. The surface of the planks have diamond- shaped openings with serrated edges, making them slip resistant in every direction under practically all conditions. Walkway planks have 4-1/2 inch deep side channels that meet OSHA requirements for toe boards on elevated structures. Planks are easy to install and have a high strength-to-weight performance that offers a high load capacity and long life.
Walkway planks are available from stock in 14 or 12 gauge, galvanized steel in 10 or 12 foot lengths (up to 24 foot lengths available by special order). GRIP STRUT Walkway Plank is also available in a standard plank style with down turned channels.

GRIP STRUT® Walkways contain diamond shaped openings (11/16 inch x 1-7/8 inch) edged with serrated teeth meant for grabbing in every direction. Surfaces are ideally suited for all inside and outside conditions— grease, snow, mud, ice, detergent, etc. Openings are small enough to catch most falling items, such as tools. The products also have a high load capacity, long life, and are easy to install. grip strut is also available in a Heavy Duty Style for serious load applications.
GRIP STRUT® Walkway is made to standard lengths of 10 to 12 feet (up to 24 feet by special order). Walkways can also be cut-to-size. GRIP STRUT® is cut by 1 inch, full diamond increments.
The gauge is the thickness of the material. The higher the gauge, the lighter and less durable the material.
· Pre-Galvanized material available in 10, 11, or 9 gauge.
· Plain Steel material available in 10, 11, or 9 gauge.
· Aluminum material available in 0.150 inches.
Quantity is the number of full panels or pieces you will need. McNICHOLS will quote you on the exact quantity you specify and inform you if minimum quantities apply.
There are standard tolerances for shearing (cutting) and length for GRIP STRUT products. If you do not specify a tolerance, the standard tolerance applies. Tolerances can be specified on the quote form.
