GRIP STRUT® Plank Grating offers one of the most slip resistant walking-working surfaces in the industry. The surface of the planks have diamond-shaped openings with serrated edges, making them slip resistant in every direction under practically all conditions. Planks are easy to install and have a high strength-to- weight performance that offers a high load capacity and long life. GRIP STRUT Plank is commonly used for work platforms, catwalks, transportation servicing areas, vehicle steps, rooftop walkways, and stair treads.
Planks come in a variety of widths – 4-3/4 to 24 inch with lengths from 10 to 12 foot (up to 24 foot lengths by special order). A wide range of material types are available: 14 or 12 gauge galvanized steel; 14 or 12 gauge plain steel; .080 or .100 gauge aluminum; and 16 gauge stainless steel. GRIP STRUT Plank is also available in a walkway plank style with up turned toe boards.

GRIP STRUT® Plank contains diamond shaped openings (11/16 inch x 1–7/8 inches) edged with serrated teeth meant for grabbing in every direction. Surfaces are ideally suited for all inside and outside conditions—grease, snow, mud, ice, detergent, etc. Openings are small enough to catch most falling items, such as tools. The products also have a high load capacity, long life, and are easy to install. GRIP STRUT® is also available in a Heavy Duty Style for serious load applications.
GRIP STRUT® Plank is made to standard lengths of 10 to 12 feet (up to 24 feet by special order). Planks can also be cut-to-size. See the Full Diamond and Half diamond length chart for exact length measurements allowed. Please consult the 2 diamond, 3 diamond, 4 diamond, 5 diamond load tables, or the 8 diamond, 10 diamond load tables for application requirements.
The gauge is the thickness of the plank. The higher the gauge, the lighter and less durable the material. This gauges and weights chart can provide additional information.
