How is Molded square Fiberglass Grating-Integral Grit Made?
Molded Square Fiberglass Grating-Integral Grit is a fiberglass reinforced composite of polyester or vinyl ester resin with a molded-in integral grit surface. Molded Grating is manufactured in a one piece construction process by interlacing pre-wetted glass reinforcing strands in a liquid resin matrix within a given configuration. Once the resin has cured, the molded grid is removed from the mold. The one piece construction ensures that all glass is impregnated with resin.

Color
The standard colors are gray, yellow or green. Other colors are available upon special request.
Molded Square Fiberglass Grating is stocked in a MSGFR resin. All of the available resins are listed below.
· MSGFR (in stock) for basic economical applications.(Most cost effective).
· MSFFR (special order) for food processing facilities and other common applications.
· MSPFR (special order) for general applications and high corrosion resistance.
· MSVFR (special order) for maximum corrosion and temperature resistance.
The square mesh is measured from the center thickness of one bar to the center thickness of the next. There are two mesh sizes available: 1-1/2 or 2 inch square.
