McNICHOLS® Rectangular Mesh Molded Fiberglass Grating panels are corrosion and fire retardant. The most popular mesh grid is 1 x 4 inch with a 1 inch panel height (1-1/2 x 6 inch grid is also available). We offer a variety of panel colors, resin choices and sizes from stock. Panel surface is available smooth or with grit for added slip resistance.
You may narrow your selection choices by using the left navigation pane requirements or clicking an image below to select a plain or gritted surface stock list.

Molded Rectangular Fiberglass Grating is a fiberglass reinforced composite of polyester or vinyl ester resin with a slightly concave skid resistant surface available with or without a grit surface. Molded Grating is manufactured in a one piece construction process by interlacing pre-wetted glass reinforcing strands in a liquid resin matrix within a given configuration. Once the resin has cured, the molded grid is removed from the mold. The one piece construction ensures that all glass is impregnated with resin.
Molded Square Fiberglass Grating is stocked in a MSGFR resin. All of the available resins are listed below.
· MSGFR (in stock) for basic economical applications.(Most cost effective).
· MSFFR (special order) for food processing facilities and other common applications.
· MSPFR (special order) for general applications and high corrosion resistance.
· MSVFR (special order) for maximum corrosion and temperature resistance.
The rectangular mesh is measured from the center thickness of one bar to the center thickness of the next. There are two mesh sizes available. The long dimension (4 inches) runs parallel to the width of the panel. Available in 1 x 4 inches only.
The surface is the top area of the panel. The surface can be made two ways: Meniscus (concave) or Grit. The gritted surface is available in four types:
· Extra Coarse - Suitable for oily or greasy environments
· Regular - Suitable for most applications
· Fine - Minimal slip resistance
The standard panel length is 8, 10 or 12 feet (96, 120 or 144 inches). The length is the direction that the grating should span. Panels can also be cut-to-size.
Quantity is the number of full panels or pieces you will need. McNICHOLS will quote you on the exact quantity you specify and inform you if minimum quantities apply.
