Grating products constructed by molding fiberglass into a specified grid pattern of uniform thickness.

Color

The standard colors are gray, yellow or green. Other colors are available upon special request.

Resin Type

Molded Mini-Grid_TM Fiberglass Grating is stocked in a MSGFR resin. All of the available resins are listed below.

· MSGFR (in stock) for basic economical applications.(Most cost effective).
· MSFFR (special order) for food processing facilities and other common applications.
· MSPFR (special order) for general applications and high corrosion resistance.
· MSVFR (special order) for maximum corrosion and temperature resistance.

Mesh Size

The mesh is measured from the center thickness of one bar to the center thickness of the next. Molded Mini-Grid_TM has a mesh size of 3/4" x 3/4".

Height

The height is the top to bottom measurement of the panel. The standard height is 1-1/2 inches.

Surface

The surface is the top area of the panel. The surface can be made two ways: Meniscus (concave) or Grit. The gritted surface is available in four types:

· Extra Coarse - Suitable for oily or greasy environments
· Regular - Suitable for most applications
· Fine - Minimal slip resistance

Open Area

The open area is the open space within the fiberglass bars.

· Molded Mini-Grid_TM mesh size of 3/4 inches has a 44% open area.

Width

The standard panel width is 3, 4 or 5 feet (36, 48 or 60 inches). Panels can also be cut-to-size.

Length

The standard panel length is 8, 10 or 12 feet (96, 120 or 144 inches). Panels can also be cut-to-size.

Quantity is the number of full panels or pieces you will need. McNICHOLS will quote you on the exact quantity you specify and inform you if minimum quantities apply.
