In the patented Grip Tight® process, aluminum oxide grit is bonded to a metal base using a metal bonding agent. This metal and abrasive grit composite provides a non-sparking, non-corrosive surface that means surer footing under slippery conditions. Grip Tight® surface withstands contact with oil, gasoline and other chemicals, including alcohol. The surface has no odor or toxic fumes when subjected to high temperatures.
