GRATE-LOCK® Plank is an easy-to-install system of interlocking planks that provide safe, sturdy footing for mezzanine floors, platforms, walkways and other applications where non-slip performance is required.
GRATE-LOCK® Plank is available with a traction grip textured surface featuring sole gripping dimples to ensure a safe walking and working surface in numerous environments. A smooth surface is also available for rack decking or wheel traffic. The unique design of this product gives it increased load performance achieved through interlocking planks, strong rung design and an expanded selection of plank heights.
A large open area of no greater than 45% permits air and light passage and admits water passage from automatic ceiling sprinklers.
GRATE-LOCK® Planks are lightweight and are made from 18 gauge galvanized material. Other gauges are available.
The height is the top to bottom measurement of the plank channel. The height measurement does not include the height of the raised dimples. Heights available in 1–1/2, 2–1/2, 3, 4 inches.
The gauge is the thickness of the plank. The higher the gauge, the lighter and less durable the material. 18 gauge and 14 gauge are the most common. This gauges and weights chart can provide additional information.
