At McNICHOLS Company, supporting community initiatives and giving generously of time and resources is not just an ideal;
it is a responsibility. This spirit of giving is exemplified by the actions and contributions of the McNichols family, who believe in giving personally and corporately. In addition, the family enthusiastically supports the efforts of
McNICHOLS associates by sponsoring programs and allowing employees to participate in them through donation of their time and talents.
United Way
The most extensive company-sponsored program is the annual fund raising drive for United Way. Although associates are encouraged to give, participation in the program is strictly voluntary. Instead, to encourage involvement and increase the impact of associate contributions,
McNICHOLS Company generously matches all contributions dollar-for-dollar. In
2006,
McNICHOLS contributed more than
$146,000 to United Way.
In addition to the annual fund raising drive, McNICHOLS
also actively participates in United Way of Tampa Bay’s Day of Caring.

supports many community endeavors, including several local churches and religious foundations; educational institutions like Hillsborough and Pinellas Education Foundations and
The University of Tampa; health and research foundations like the American Cancer, Heart and Lung Associations and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center; community arts and cultural organizations such as The Florida Orchestra, Lowry Park Zoo and the Florida Aquarium; as well as charitable organizations such as the Salvation Army, Metropolitan Ministries and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay. |
